OUR STORY
What began in 2014 as OUTPOST Kitchen—a space born from our own need for healthy food and quality coffee—quickly became more than just a café. It became a destination for a community of artists, entrepreneurs, surfers, skaters, fashion designers, and local businesses who gathered to connect, create, and refuel.
Over the years, the Westside landscape has shifted. Iconic institutions have come and gone, familiar faces have moved on, and yet the neighborhood’s energy continues to thrive. Today, it’s buzzing with new families, residents, and local businesses—a rebirth of sorts, with fresh momentum and possibility.
That’s why we’re here again, reimagined as The Pocket. With a new aesthetic and refreshed brand, but the same great flavors and ethos, we’re here to feed a new generation of food lovers. Think flat whites, Aussie scrambles, and clean, vibrant plates that fuel both body and community.
We’ve always loved our role in shaping the Westside CM community and being part of its ongoing evolution. Now, with old bones and bright new paint, The Pocket continues to be a place where connection, creativity, and culture come together.
